Moldova continues to rely on Slovakia’s contribution to boosting Transnistrian settlement process

The results of the inter-ministerial dialogue on the future of the Eastern Partnership (EaP), the whole spectrum of issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda of the Moldovan-Slovak relations, as well as the latest developments in the Transnistrian settlement process were discussed in Bratislava at a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Tudor Ulianovschi and OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák, the MAEIE’s press service has reported.

Ulianovschi appreciated the initiative of the Slovak Presidency in the Visegrad Group to organize talks on the future of EaP in that format. „This meeting is a beginning of talks, which will certainly continue at high-level meetings next week in Brussels, with the Moldovan delegation led by Prime Minister Pavel Filip”.
